Pippa Harris and James Wilson to Headline at LFF

Pippa Harris’s Contributions
Harris, who co-founded Neal Street Productions with Sam Mendes, is currently working on The Beatles – A Four Film Cinematic Event. This ambitious project consists of four biopic films about the iconic band, featuring actors such as Paul Mescal and Joseph Quinn, with Mendes directing.
At the festival, Harris will discuss her innovative work and the challenges she has faced in production and development. Her impressive portfolio includes award-winning films like Hamnet and 1917, as well as notable titles such as Revolutionary Road and The Magic Faraway Tree. Wilson, a prominent figure in independent film for over thirty years, will share insights from his extensive career. He has collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers on projects like Under the Skin and You Were Never Really Here. His experience includes significant roles at Fox Searchlight Pictures and Film4, where he worked on films such as Sexy Beast and Dancer in the Dark.
During his session, Wilson will reflect on key moments in his career and the establishment of his own company, JW Films.
